The Boswell Academic Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to a rising high school senior who will enroll for the first time in a four-year U.S. located accredited College or University.
Scholarship awards are based on three criteria:
Academic Achievement, Leadership, and Community Service.
Scholarship awards shall be made payable to the recipient and the institution where the recipient has provided proof of enrollment. The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, supplies and other fees. The recipient must be a full-time student at the designated institution of enrollment.
Scholarship awards of $2000 will be provided to each scholarship recipient.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a citizen/legal permanent resident of the United States
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or at least a 3.5 on a 5.0 scale, verified by an official stamped high school transcript
- Must demonstrate Leadership abilities through participation in Community Service, Extracurricular or other activities
- Must complete and submit all required forms: the student application, an official stamped high school transcript, official S.A.T. and/or A.C.T. scores and two letters of recommendation outlining the student’s leadership activities and community service by the deadline date.
Completed Scholarship Applications will be accepted through March 15, 2017.
There will be no exceptions to this deadline.

Scholarships will be announced to recipients in the Spring of 2017 for use during the upcoming academic year. Recipients will be announced to the public in June of 2017 and payments of scholarship awards will be made in August 2017.
